Eastern Iowa Teacher Awarded For Kindness, Involvement In School Activities

The Spring 2025 semester isn't quite over. We're still going out with our awesome program with Famous Dave's to honor and reward an awesome Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Famous Dave's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Olivia Fourneau, a Language Arts teacher at Sudlow Intermediate in Davenport!

Ms. Fourneau was nominated by one of her students, Aubrey. She had to say in her nomination:

Ms.Fourneau is one of the best teachers I have EVER had. She is always so kind and understanding. She is clearly excited to be there and see students. When there is a serious matter to address she wants it to reach the students hearts instead of going through one ear and out the other. She is involved with school events and activities (Student Council, Volleyball, Track and Field) to show she cares. She builds relationships with teachers and students and that is why we love Ms. Fourneau. When I transferred to her Honors ELA class I had zero idea who she was and who was in my class. But her kindness during the transfer process made it so much more bearable. She puts up with some kids hate and disrespectful behavior but she stays strong in kindness. This is why she deserves to win B100 Teacher of the week!
