One of the events you must attend during the spooky season in the Quad Cities is the annual Halloween Parade in downtown Davenport.

The parade is coming up this weekend. Whether you plan on attending or not, you'll need to know when roads will be closed, where to stand, where to park, and everything else.

2023 Halloween Parade In Davenport

Get ready, Quad Cities for the biggest Halloween parade in our community. The Davenport Halloween Parade is this Sunday, Oct. 29th. The parade will begin at 2 p.m. and will start at the intersection of 2nd and Pershing Streets.

Make sure you wear your favorite costumes and bring a candy bucket or bag because there are so many treats that get thrown out by each parade float.

Before the parade kicks off on Sunday, you'll want to make sure you know about road closures whether you're attending or not. This will make sure everyone has a stress-free experience. Below is the City of Davenport's road closure map:

The earliest road closures will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Free Parking For The Halloween Parade

If you're worried about parking or paying for parking, no need to worry. Parking is free in all three parking ramps from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Beginning at 11:30 a.m., the Harrison Street Ramp will not be accessible until the parade is done. The Redstone and RiverCenter Parking Ramps will be accessible from Brady Street only. There is other free parking in several other parking lots south of River Drive as you can see on the map below:

Parade spectators will find designated restrooms on the lower level of the Harrison Street parking ramp and on the north side of the RiverCenter.

Support Local Businesses Before & After The Parade

We know you're trying to collect as much candy as possible, but before and/or after the Halloween parade, make sure you support local businesses in downtown Davenport.
