Fair Oaks Foods is set to open a food production facility in Davenport, pending local and state approval.

The city of Davenport announced today that the facility will be state-of-the-art and construction is expected to begin this summer on a 32-acre site near Interstate 80.

The investment by Fair Oaks Foods includes a 150,000-square-foot facility in the Eastern Iowa Industrial Center and will create about 247 new jobs.

Operations are expected to begin in early 2024. It is expected to have an economic impact of $182 million in our area, making it the largest business attraction in our region's history.
