The series will be on Peacock. It's an open call for paid extras and if you think you have what it takes, here's the link to get more details on joining the cast.

Filming is set to start in September (around Labor Day) and run through early October. It's not set to take place in just Dyersville and allegedly won't feature the MLB field at the Field of Dreams set. Filming for the "Field of Dreams" TV series will take place across Iowa, according to The Hollywood Reporter, specifically in Polk, Clinton, Mahaska, and Boone Counties.

If you're more interested in watching the show on Peacock, you'll have to wait a minute. A release date hasn't been set for "Field of Dreams" but we do know it will be some time next year. The cast hasn't been announced either so we don't know if Kevin Costner will be in it. It's a limited series that's said to be a prequel to the original movie.

A bonus for Iowa: the show will use several local crews, vendors, and suppliers for assistance in the production.

No word on what you would be doing as an extra in the show but if you do join the series cast, remember us QC folk when you make it big.
