Fine Arts Festival is Coming Back to East Davenport
It's been two years since I've gotten my art fix in Lindsay Park. Quad City festival organizers have announced the 33rd Annual Riverssance Festival of Fine Art will be back as an in-person event at Lindsay Park on September 18 and 19, 2021 in the Village of East Davenport.
In fact the 2021 Call for Entries is underway now too. The event, once run by MidCoast Fine Arts is now being run by Quad City Arts. Artists can apply to show their wares here.
Deadline is March 22. Those accepted for last year's show will carry over to this year.
Last year the pandemic forced the event to online only and the year before that, floodwaters impacted the festival forcing it to cancel. It will be so nice to be able to attend this fun event again.
If you've never attended the show, I highly recommend it. You'll enjoy a beautiful scenic location, plenty of art, jewelry, music food and a kids area.
Hours for the event will be 10 am - 5 pm Saturday, Sept. 18 and 10 am - 4 pm on Sunday, Sept. 19. State and county health and safety practices will be in place for both visitor and exhibitor safety.
