Free Admission to Davenport’s Figge Museum
Enjoy exploring all the Figge has to offer the Quad Cities and surrounding areas for free through August 11th.
If you're looking for things to do this summer that you've never done before, I highly suggest taking a trip to the Figge Museum. Not only is this the fifth year of their summer 'free admission' tradition, employees say it's bringing in people they don't usually see.
You get a little over one whole month to see it all, make the memories and enjoy no admission.
According to KWQC.com, worker and volunteer at the museum, Susan Perry said,
“There's been large groups of families that have come through this morning and, obviously it would cost a fair amount of money to involve your whole family but it's nice they can bring their children and expose them to art.”
Seeing life through art, or art through life, is always an interesting way to spend a summer day.
