Illinois Has 16 Of The Worst Cities In The U.S. For Grilling Meat

Summertime is here and that means firing up that grill. Heck, even in the winter I love cooking a steak on the grill or the breakfast on the Blackstone if the snow isn't too deep.

But some cities are better for grilling in the summer than others and apparently most cities are better than every city in Illinois. A new study came out with a list that included 16 Illinois cities, including Chicago, that are named some of the worst cities for grilling meats. The cold winters and shortage of butchers don't help, but Illinois still has cattle farmers.

States like New York were literally trying to ban grills, but they are better than cities in Illinois which is right in the Heartland. C'mon. As a matter of fact, the city named the worst city to grill in is a city in Illinois.

Most of these Illinois cities are Chicago suburbs which makes sense. But it seems like Illinois is a terrible place to grill meat this summer. As someone who rarely defends Illinois, I have to here. This list is ridiculous and if you go anywhere beyond Chicago and its suburbs, Illinois is just as good as any other place to grill meat.

That's right; Cicero is the worst city in the U.S. for grilling meat. It's expensive, it's not popular, and the weather sucks. Maybe someone who lives there can prove us wrong.
