2025 is just going by way too fast.

Somehow we've already arrived into pumpkin spice season and that means Halloween festivities!

We're already so excited for our Halloween Masquerade Ball on October 25th! And now there's a perfect post-party for that weekend in downtown Davenport.

The City of Davenport has announced that this year's Halloween Parade downtown will be on Sunday, October 26th at 2:00 p.m.

Get the kids in their costumes (really, it's a great pre-Halloween night trial run) and get their candy buckets ready to go! Schools, youth groups, local businesses and organizations will be in the parade with candy to hand out.

If you want to be in the parade or volunteer to help out, applications are open on the city's website. Here's what the route is going to look like:

Parking in all of the downtown ramps will be free from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. But the Harrison Street ramp won't be accessible from 11:30 a.m. through the end of the parade. The Redstone and RiverCenter parking ramps will only be accessible via Brady Street. And you can't park along the parade staging route (which is marked in gold on the route map).

No political entries are allowed in the parade and if you are planning to handout candy, the rules say no overhand throwing. So don't curveball pitch the Snickers at a kid.

The deadline to submit your entry for the parade is October 8th. Parade entries are limited so it's probably a good idea to send it in sooner rather than later.
