Happy birthday, Joey Lawrence!

It's time for a trip down memory lane. Back to a time where the Disney Channel aired quality family programming like Growing Pains, Boy Meets World, and Sister Sister.

But, let's not forget one of the most underrated shows of my our generation: Brotherly Love.

The show revolved around a single-mom raising her three kids, played by real-life brothers Joey, Matthew and Andrew Lawrence. WHOA!

Unlike many, who were introduced to Joey in Blossom, this was my first encounter with all the Lawrence's (minus Matthew who played Robin William's son in Mrs. Doubtfire). My 5-year-old self developed an immediate crush for the tough-exterior, soft-interior, leather-wearing mechanic played by Joey.

Of course when the Disney Channel started running Joey's music video for "Never Gonna Change My Mind" I was an instant fan. My parents even indulged in my crush by getting me a CD of only that single and I would dance around my room like a lunatic singing every word (I still remember them too!).

Today is Joey Lawrence's 40th birthday, so let's all do Joey a solid and get "Never Gonna Change My Mind" up to 7,000 hits in YouTube. He deserves it.
