You Know The Store That’s Going Into The Former Gordmans In Moline
A store that already has several QCA locations will soon have another one in Moline.
The former Gordmans in Moline has sat empty since 2020 but that won't be the case for much longer. Harbor Freight Tools will be moving into the space.
They're expected to open in the former Gordmans building that's at 4401 27th Street this fall but an official opening date is still TBD, according to WQAD.
Harbor Freight Tools already has multiple locations in the QCA. There's one on East Kimberly in Davenport, as well as stores in Muscatine, Clinton, Galesburg, Iowa City, Sterling, and West Burlington.
According to a press release from Harbor Freight, work has already started on the building ahead of the move-in thanks to Moline companies working on the project.
Trey Feiler, senior vice president of real estate and construction for Harbor Freight Tools, said in the release:
We’ve been looking to open another location in Moline for a number of years so that we can provide the tools and equipment at tremendous values to the community. In addition to finding a great location, we were attracted by the availability of great associates in the Moline area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team.
WQAD reports that the new store is expected to create 25-30 jobs, which include roles in sales, senior associates, and there will also be seasonal positions. If you are interested in applying at Harbor Freight, you can click here and search for the Moline store.
