Get Your Wellness On At Freight House Farmer’s Market In Davenport
For the second year in a row, community organizations will come together to provide wellness and health resources for people in the Quad Cities. This year's fair will be happenings at the same time and at the same place as the Freight House Farmers' Market.
While you're shopping and supporting local vendors, make sure you take time to support your and your family's health by taking advantage of the many resources this fair has to offer.
2nd Annual Heath & Wellness Resource Fair
The Scott County Health Department is gearing up for the 2nd Annual Health and Wellness Resource Fair at the Freight House Farmers' Market (421 W River Dr., Davenport) on Saturday, June 24th from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The purpose of the Health and Wellness Resource Fair is to provide ease of access to supportive Health and Wellness resources. Additionally, organizations will encourage and recruit individuals to be proactive about their health by participating in services offered by the various social service organizations present.
Like the farmers' market, the Health and Wellness Resource Fair is open to the public and will have something for all ages including:
- Games & Giveaways
- Health screenings
- Housing resources
- Linkages to care
- Music from B100
- And so much more!
Connor Kenney will be there with the B100 Booth playing all the hit music and giving you a chance to win tickets to the 2023 John Deere Classic to see Darius Rucker or Blake Shelton.
The Scott County Public Health Department and organizations will also have trained professionals who will provide free, confidential health assessments coupled with appropriate referrals to care.
