A Quad City family needs your help.

Meet baby Hayden. She's the daughter of Kilie Angusich and Nic Ponce. On June 6th, she was diagnosed with Krabbe disease -- a very rare degenerative disorder that attacks the nervous system. It affects 1 in every 100,000 people. As of right now, unfortunately, there is no cure, and most infants with this disease will die before the age of two.

There is a benefit planned to help the parents pay for day to day expenses on August 19th (this Saturday) at Leisure Time Billiards on Avenue of the Cities in East Moline from 1pm - 6pm. Stop out for some fun and raffle. For more details, check out the Facebook invite here. To learn more about Krabbe disease, go here.
