Help Needy Quad City Kids Go Back To School Today

The other day I wrote about helping out some needy kids in the Quad Cites head back to school by helping out the First Day Fund (http://b100quadcities.com/help-quad-city-kids-go-back-to-school/). Today is the day to help out.

I have helped out the this program in the past and it's pretty overwhelming to find out how many kids in our area don't have school supplies to start the school year. Kids learn better and perform better when they have new school supplies.

Our friends at WQAD are holding their school supply drive today at their studios in Moline from 8am-5pm. Click HERE for a complete list of what's needed and other Quad City locations that are collecting school supplies.

I know back to school is the last thing you're thinking about, but think back to your childhood and what it was like to get that new lunch box, back pack, or new box of crayons. Please help out if you can.
