Help Quad City Kids Go Back To School

Back-to-school time is almost here. Seems like summer just started. It's like a holiday for some parents. Stores are getting their B2S displays ready to go.

Imagine thought, what it's like to be the kid at school without new school supplies. It seriously disrupts the learning process. New school supplies help raise a child's self-esteem as well.

Our friends at WQAD are joining some local businesses to help with the 1st Day Fund to raise money and collect school supplies for area kids who may be less fortunate. Approximately 24,000 students in Quad City schools are from families with incomes low enough to be eligible for Free & Reduced fee waivers for school meals and fees.
