Here’s Your Seasonal Reminder That Whitey’s Ice Cream Can Be Shipped From The QC
Have a friend or family member that's moved out of the QCA and misses the sweet, sweet taste of Whitey's ice cream? You're in luck.
The famed local ice cream chain offers delivery of their delicious treats, which certainly comes in handy this time of year.
According to their website, customers can order a variety of Whitey's items for shipment online, including quarts, pints, and shakes. All products are sent inside a cooler with dry ice and are shipped via FedEx.
Keep in mind, the pricing for online ordering is a bit steeper than the average quart from their shop or Hy-Vee. But remember, you're shipping the goodness of Whitey's Ice Cream across state lines, and that luxury doesn't come cheap.
4 quarts of ice cream costs $53, plus shipping, which can run between $50-$90, depending on where the recipient lives.
Whitey's says on their Facebook page that in order to guarantee delivery by Christmas, ice cream orders must be completed by Monday, December 16 with FedEx 2 Day, and Wednesday, December 18 with FedEx Overnight.
