A Midwestern table staple is getting a frozen makeover.
We love our Midwestern regional food staples like pickle wraps, taco pizza, scotcheroos, and of course ranch dressing. From fries to pizza and salads, many of us will put ranch dressing on just about anything.
Personally, I'm that way with ketchup instead of ranch (don't @ me) but ranch is still great to cool off the spice on stuff like hot wings. The ranch giant Hidden Valley has come up with a new creation and I really don't know who ordered this.
Exactly How Much Do You Love Ranch?
If you thought you were a ranch buff, now is your time to live up to your claim. As of March 10th, ranch-flavored ice cream (by Hidden Valley and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream) is now on the planet.
It's not a prank. We're almost a month too early for April Fools, guys.
It's sold at select Walmarts for a limited time this spring, according to USA Today. You can get it between March 20-May 28th. The release date coincides with March 10th being National Ranch Day. Food & Wine did a review of the ice cream on TikTok and called it "garlic powder forward but also sweet".
