Mini Hyvee Stores Are Coming To The Quad Cities

Hy-vee is bringing all of the friendly service and fresh food you love to upscale mini stores.

The Quad City Times reports that a new Hy-vee convenience store and gas station concept called Fast & Fresh will open its first location in Davenport this fall.

Fast & Fresh plans to open at the southeast corner of Elmore and East Kimberly and will offer a lot more than your average gas station mini-mart. The store will feature frozen foods, produce, dairy, and meat, along with a selection of specialty items.

"Fast & Fresh will be a 10,000-square-foot mini grocery store that also will sell made-to-order meals for carry-out or dining-in, take-and-heat meal options and meal kits, as well as offering a Starbucks coffee drive-thru, Tina Potthoff, vice-president of communications, said."

The Elmore Fast & Fresh will also have 14 gas pumps, but the existing Hy-vee gas station up the road will remain open as well.
