UPDATE: I-80, I-74 Westbound Reopened

UPDATE: I-80 westbound from the I-80 bridge to the I-80/I-74 interchange is no longer backed up. I-74 westbound, which was also blocked this morning due to a crash, is also reopened to traffic.

I-80 westbound was backed up big time Thursday morning due to a crash.

The crash happened between Exit 306: US 67 and Exit 301: Middle Road in Bettendorf. The crash happened just below 8 a.m. this morning.

Traffic is basically at a stand still on I-80 heading westbound. Traffic is backed up from about a mile off of the I-80 bridge to the I-80/I-74 interchange.

Many other crashes have been reported along I-80 and I-74 Thursday morning.
