We're sliding into prom season.

You know how 'mean girls' or high school bullies learn those behaviors from somewhere? (Generally the parents) Here's exhibit A.

Kathy Labedzki-Pierga, who owns Kasia's Bridal and Special Occasion boutique in Chicago, says that she gets clients purchasing bridal and prom dresses from Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, and the whole Midwest.

She recently had a run-in with an unhinged prom mother that has gone viral on TikTok. Here's how it went down, according to TODAY.

Labedzki-Pierga sold a purple sparkly gown to a teen who loved it and the girl posted a pic of the dress on social media to avoid anyone else at her school wearing the same gown.

Then, another teen's mom (whose daughter was a cheerleader at the same school) called the shop leaving threatening messages, because apparently her daughter loved the dress back in December but decided to skip it and picked another prom dress.

It's a lovely dress. Beautiful shade of purple.

If you think the drama is done now, oh no my friend, things are just beginning. The lovely young lady in the pic above allegedly had her car and house egged over this. Here's the viral TikTok that Kathy posted explaining the incident. It's kind of lengthy but it's because someone stretched out the drama.

Prom dress shopping can be stressful because we all remember our prom dresses and we want our kiddos to look nice. But for heaven's sake, don't go insane on the shop owners.
