It's officially 2019, and with that comes new diets, new workout plans, and for Illinois, new laws! It can be pretty easy to miss some of the new ones that have gone into effect, but you won't want to miss this one. It could save you some money!

According to the Illinois State Democrats, the state now has a new policy on using a personal electronic device at work. Per their website, it is now law that "If your boss requires you to use your personal phone or computer for work, your boss needs to have a reimbursement policy."

This could definitely help you out when it comes time to pay the data bill.

The law is just one of 253 new policies that take effect this year. Some have later start dates, but this particular policy went into effect as of January 1st, 2019. You can check out the full list here.
