Illinois Residents Get Free Admission To The Shedd Aquarium All Next Month
Since the holidays have passed, there seems to have been a steady decrease in fun weekend activities. Between ice skating and visits to Santa and sleigh rides, there were tons of things to choose from each week. Don't worry though, there are still plenty of options – like the Shedd Aquarium!
And, if you're an Illinois resident, you can get in for free in the coming weeks. According to ABC7 Chicago, the Shedd is offering free admission to Illinois residents from January 17-21. In addition to free entrance, the aquarium will also be open later, until 9 p.m. on the 21st.
In February, the aquarium will be free Mondays through Fridays through the entire month. You'll just need a valid ID to get in on the deal! These Illinois Resident Free Days are sponsored by Ford Motor Company Fund.
If you can't make it out, don't worry! The Shedd has said that there will be more free day offerings later this year.
