Iowa Lavender Festival Is Something You Shouldn’t Miss
If you love flowering plants and the relaxing scent of lavender, this festival is for you. After a pandemic pause, LavenderStock is set to return this year.
According to OnlyInYourState.com, LavenderStock is a festival held annually at the Loess Hills Lavender Farm, in western Iowa, about 35 minutes north of Omaha. The farm started growing lavender back in 2009 and the first festival took place in 2015. It's held the third Saturday in July.
There are 15 acres of lavender at the farm and the festival hosts more than 50 arts and crafts vendors along with food and live music. Of course since there's so much lavender, you'll find plenty of butterflies there too.
You'll also find a gift shop filled with plenty of lavender products made at the farm.

In case you can't make it to the farm during LavenderStock, the farm offers tours and its gift shop is open to visitors seasonally. OnlyInYourState.com says the shop showcases the works of local artisans and has plenty of lavender products for sale.
