Iowa One Step Closer to Passing Distillery Bill
A new bill that would help Iowa distilleries, just passed in the Iowa House. What does that mean?
Distilleries in Iowa are one step closer to being able to sell you a glass of liquor, opening up so many more opportunities in how liquor is sold in the state.
Many restrictions on the sale of liquor in Iowa led to a special panel being put together by Governor Terry Branstad. According to WQAD.com,
That panel helping in getting this bill passed in the Iowa House and now, it's moving on to the Senate, according to KWQC.com.
If this passes, it means when you ride your bike along the river and want to stop, you get to sip a glass of scotch as you hang out at places like Mississippi River Distilling Company and get to purchase your favorite bottles for friends and family without being told you can't purchase more than 2 at a time. Merry Christmas!
