Iowa Residents Can Fish Without License This Weekend
My official start to summer always begins after Memorial Day. You can typically depend on the weather being (somewhat) warm in the Midwest - which means finally getting outside!
If your weekend plans include taking in the great outdoors and fishing, you're in luck.
According to WQAD, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources says Iowa residents may fish without a license June 3rd - June 5th (which is this weekend, if you're still stuck in May).
Even though Iowa residents will not need a license to fish over the weekend, it's important to note that all other fishing regulations will remain in place.
