Some people sh*t their pants at Walmart. This Florida Man shot his.

Deputies with the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office responded to a Walmart in Venice yesterday morning after receiving a 911 call about a shooting.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, the caller was at the Walmart on Tamiami Trail, when they heard a popping sound ring out.

The caller also reported seeing a trail of blood near the bathroom area at the front of the store.

Responding deputies evacuated the store, stating that no one was located inside the premises. Not long after the call, a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound was located at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Campus in Venice.

Reviewing footage, police found footage of a man who came into the store with a gun holstered in his waistband. While shopping, the man tried to adjust the gun in his waistband, and while doing so, the gun discharged and struck him in the leg/groin area.

The sheriff's office has said it was an isolated incident and there's no danger to the public.
