Two women are accused of stealing $8,000 worth of baby formula from a number of stores in Florida, but police finally busted them.

Police officers in Stuart, Florida received a call about two women, 36-year-old Summer Bryant and 38-year-old Andrea Williams, who randomly and abruptly left a store last Wednesday.

When word got out to the other officers that it was worth checking into, the Martin County Sheriff's Office was alerted, and road patrol units began searching for the suspected vehicle.

The vehicle was found outside of a Walgreens at Salerno Road and Kanner Highway.

Detectives said when they walked up to the store to see if the women were inside, the two women were on their way out of the store with bags filled with hundreds of dollars in stolen baby formula.

According to MCSO, there were a crapload more cans of baby formula inside the back of the car.

Deputies reported recovering approximately 160 cans of the stolen formula, stolen from a litter of stores, in the back of the car - a vaule of around $8,000 total.

The women were arrested and taken straight to Martin County Jail.

According to officials, baby formula theft is becoming more common because of the high demand and high resale value. According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, thieves are travelling across multiple towns and jurisdictions to hit multiple locations in a short period of time.
