Players will wear Thunder-themed jerseys reminiscent of the historic basketball team’s iconic era, bringing a wave of nostalgia to fans. These special jerseys will be auctioned off live after Saturday's game.

Honoring a Legacy

The Quad City Thunder was a powerhouse in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) from 1987 until the league’s dissolution in 2001. The team called the Wharton Field House in Moline home and became a significant source of pride for the Quad Cities community. Known for their competitive spirit and thrilling gameplay, the Thunder created lasting memories for basketball fans in the region.

By rebranding as the "Quad City Thunder," the Storm aims to bridge generations of sports enthusiasts and pay tribute to a franchise that played a crucial role in shaping the area’s sports culture.
