Every year, massive crowds take over the streets to catch a glimpse of the colorful floats, traditional Irish dancers, bagpipe bands, and proud family clans. The St. Patrick Society of the Quad Cities organizes this event, which has been officially ranked as one of the top ten St. Patrick’s Day parades in North America. The two-hour event kicks off at 11:30 a.m. in downtown Rock Island and wraps up by 1:30 p.m. across the river in downtown Davenport.

Third: St. Patrick's Day PARTIES

The 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Bash is a massive, two-day community celebration. It's one of the largest Irish parties in the Quad Cities. This free-admission event features a high-energy lineup of live music, a festive kick-off parade, and the crowd-favorite "Flying Leprechaun" skydivers. Families can take advantage of a dedicated Kids Zone filled with bounce houses and games, while adults can enjoy classic fair food and seasonal staples like corned beef and cabbage. Whether you're there for the concerts, the unique sights, or the pop-up "Shamrock Shaker" bar, it’s a full weekend of holiday fun designed for all ages.
