The Indoor Football League just dropped its full 2026 schedule, and the Quad City Steamwheelers are wasting zero time jumping into the chaos.

A Road-Heavy Start Sets the Tone

The sQUAD kicks off the season on the road March 14, facing the Fishers Freight in Indiana. It’s the first of two meetings, with the Freight finally coming to the Quad Cities in July.

One week later, the Wheelers return home for their Vibrant Arena debut on March 21, hosting the Iowa Barnstormers in yet another chapter of the always-electric Battle of I-80.

April Brings Big Tests and Bigger Rematches

After a March 28 bye, the Steamwheelers hit the road again on April 5 to face the Pirates, whose home location the league has yet to reveal. Then comes a major showdown: Green Bay visits the Quad Cities on April 11 for a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference Championship and the first of three meetings this season.

Quad City continues the travel marathon on April 17 in San Diego before returning home on April 26 when the Jacksonville Sharks swim back into town.

Rivalries, Road Swings, and Return Visits

May brings road trips to Des Moines (May 2) and Green Bay (May 9) before the Wheelers host Tucson on May 15 in the Sugar Skulls’ first visit since 2019. After another bye, the sQUAD heads to Las Vegas on May 30 for its first Knight Hawks matchup since 2022.

June and July close the season with Green Bay, Iowa, the Pirates, Tulsa, and a long-awaited home date with Fishers Freight.
