Video Shows Person Getting A Tattoo In A Wendy’s Dining Room
A video going viral out of North Carolina shows something you never want to see inside of a restaurant, or really any public place other than where it's supposed to happen.
The video, which was recorded by Shelby McSwain, was recorded last Thursday outside the Wendy's fast food restaurant on East Franklin Boulevard.
In the video, which was shot from inside a car in the parking lot. While the driver circled around the building, she caught what appears to be a person with blue hair, sitting shirtless in the dining area of the restaurant.
Behind the person is another person, wearing blue gloves and holding what looks like a tattoo gun pressed into their back, doing some artwork.
Not even to yet discuss the fact that they're doing this in the dining room of a Wendy's, in North Carolina, all tattoo artists have to be registered with the health department, including their name, address of their studio and operating hours.
A city official said on Friday morning that they were made aware of the video and sent an environmental health team member to speak with the store manager.
The last health department inspection they had at that particular store was a 98.5, so it's not like this is a regular occurrence, or at least not when the health inspector is around.
Wendy's issued a response to the local TV station, WBTV.
“This behavior does not reflect our company’s values or the standards we set for our teams. We take the safety and well‑being of our customers very seriously, and we expect all team members to uphold those expectations at all times. Upon learning of the situation, we took immediate disciplinary action to address the situation."
So now, the question is, was the tattoo of Wendy's face, or a rival fast food restaurant's mascot?
