
10 Things Milwaukee Brewers Fans Really Think About Minnesota
The Minnesota Twins are rolling out the welcome mat for thousands of baseball fans from Wisconsin this weekend as the Milwaukee Brewers head to the Land of 10,000 Lakes for a weekend series at Target Field. Here's what those fans are thinking!
Seeing as none of the other states that border Minnesota are home to a Major League baseball team-- looking at you, North and South Dakota, as well as Iowa-- the yearly series with Wisconsin's MLB team, the Brewers,mlb is the closest thing to a border battle the Twins can call their own.
Twins-Brewers Series Renews Border Rivalry
The schedule makers at Major League Baseball have honored this border battle and interstate rivalry with two interleague series between the Twins and the Brewers each year. While the Brewers are heading to Target Field this weekend, the Twins will pay a visit to American Family Field to take on the Brewers in Milwaukee August 7th through the 9th.

Minnesota and Wisconsin may be neighbors and share a common border, but that's where some of the similarities end. And given Minnesota fans' apathy toward the Twins ownership, you might even encounter more Brewers fans than Twins fans at Target Field this year! A Former Wisconsinite’s Perspective on Minnesota
Let me start off by saying I'm a reformed Wisconsinite. Full disclosure here: Yes, I was born over in America's Dairyland, I went to college there (shout out to UW-Eau Claire!), and it's where I lived my entire life until I met the love of my life and moved to the North Star State back in 2012.

However, now that I've been a fully naturalized Minnesotan for well over a decade, I've come to realize that I love it here-- I really do. There are MANY aspects of life here in the Gopher State that can't be beaten anywhere-- including my home state of Wisconsin.
The Funny Thoughts Wisconsin Visitors Have About Minnesota
That said, though, back when I lived over in western Wisconsin, I would often head over to Minnesota to see friends or spend some time in the Twin Cities. And, whenever I did, these thoughts went through my mind. And, yes, I see now that they ARE quite ridiculous.
Now, please keep in mind that I DO NOT feel the same way about all of these anymore. But I will admit that some of the following are definitely thoughts I used to have, back in the day.
