Illinois Won't Run Out Of Pumpkins For Halloween

Over the past few years, there have been shortages of many items throughout the United States. With Halloween coming up before you know it, you don't have to worry about there not being enough pumpkins in Illinois. That's because we have plenty. The little town of Morton in the central part of the state has our back.

As the ideal place for Autumn tourism and visitors, Morton is known as the Pumpkin Capital of the World because 85% of the world’s canned pumpkin is packed in the Nestles/Libby’s plant located in the center of our Village.

Of course, since Morton is the pumpkin capital of the world, they celebrate that fact in true Illinois style by hosting a festival. This year is being held from September 13th through the 16th.
