The community of DeWitt is preparing for its favorite seasonal tradition. Organizers have officially unveiled the full 2026 schedule for Tunes in Town, the free outdoor concert series held at the historic Lincoln Park.

Sponsored by Custom-Pak, the series is more than just a set of concerts; it is a four-month celebration of local culture, community spirit, and the simple joy of gathering under the stars. Starting June 2nd, Lincoln Park will transform every Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm into a hub of "Music, Food, Family, and Fun."

The Summer Kickoff (June & July)

The season opens with a bang on June 2nd with 3 On The Tree, bringing a blend of Rockabilly, Country, and Blues. June also features the traditional sounds of Country Tradition (June 16), complete with a fiddle and steel guitar, and the high-octane 10 of Soul (June 23), which promises a masterclass in Classic Soul and Pop.

July keeps the momentum high with the Jimmy Welty Band (July 7) and the Latin-infused sounds of Crooked Cactus (July 14), known for their "perfect mix of Latin and Classic Rock" and a dynamic trumpet section that never fails to get the crowd moving.

Late Summer Grooves (August & September)

As August arrives, the vibe shifts toward Big Band and Polka with Lyle Beaver & The Brass Notes (August 11), followed by the honky-tonk spirit of    (August 18).

September rounds out the year with a sophisticated mix of Americana and Rock. Highlights include the JaCI & The Juice (Sept 8), bringing blues and soul to the stage, and the upbeat Americana of the Jordan Danielsen Band (Sept 15).

More Than Just Music

While the stage is the focal point, "Tunes in Town" is a multi-sensory experience. This year, the series integrates several community-favorite side events:

Car Cruise-Ins: Automotive enthusiasts can admire vintage and custom rides on June 2, July 14, August 25, and during the grand finale on September 26.

Tractor Show: A nod to Iowa’s rich agricultural roots, a Tractor Show will accompany the 10 of Soul performance on June 23.

Autumn Fest Finale: Breaking the Tuesday tradition for one night only, the season will conclude on Saturday, September 26th, with a special Autumn Fest performance by Hot Rods, a musical tribute to early Rock ' n ' Roll.
