This Iowa Dog Is One Step Closer To Becoming America’s Favorite
Everyone's pet is the most incredible dog or cat in the world. But, one Quad Cities dog has won her first round in this America's Favorite Pet competition.
Now, Molly has moved on to the quarter-finals in her bid to grace the cover of Dogstar Magazine. But it's up to you to help them take the crown. Which you can do below.
America's Favorite Pet Contest
Dogster and Catster Magazine are running a contest that will give one cat and one dog their time to shine in the magazine and give their owner $5,000 to spend on more treats and chew toys. Last year, Willow, a 4 ½-year-old rough-coated Collie, and Tom, a 12-year-old female tabby, were able to secure the crown.
The Contest Benefits Lending A Paw
"PAWS" (Progressive Animal Welfare Society) mission is to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats. PAWS has unified more than 130,000 cats and dogs with loving families while also helping more than 140,000 sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals.
Meet Molly
Molly is a silver/black Pug puppy living the Pug Life in Iowa. She’s sweet, funny, unique, sassy, and cute as a button.
Owner Brian says Molly's favorite toy is "Any toy! Especially the one her big brother is playing with."
Molly's go-to treats come from Three Dog Bakery but Brian says "any treat will do!"
So, other than being from the Quad Cities, why should you vote for Molly as America's Favorite Dog?
Molly is so unique and has the greatest personality. She’s a sweet cuddle bug one minute and then an absolute goofball the next. She randomly gets the zoomies inside and outside jumping over anything that gets in her way (including her brothers). Molly is ornery, a typical trait for Pugs, but definitely a lover. She loves to give kisses and just be near or on you.
Molly is now in the quarter-finals and you can keep her moving on in the competition. Vote for Molly every day for free right here.
