Jalapeno Beer Really Tastes Like Jalapenos

I was hanging out with my family in Dubuque on Sunday so I thought I'd start a week long adventure of checking out some of the beers you can try Saturday in LeClaire Park at Oktobeerfest presented by Boetje's Mustard. I thought I'd start with a beer I'd normally never try, Bent River Brewery's Jalapeno Pepper Ale.

For starters, this beer tastes like Jalapenos. A lot.. It has a very strong jalapeno flavor that is really all that you can taste. If you love Jalapeno's, you'll love this beer.  Would I pour it into my Oktobeerfest mug?

I think with chips and salsa this beer might be really good, especially if you love jalapenos.
