Kanye West’s Recent Meeting With President Trump Spoofed in Hilarious ‘Saturday Night Live’ Sketch
At this point, Kanye West is a walking headline, and just when we thought things couldn't get any more strange, the White House visit happened. While some people are still rightfully scratching their heads, and wondering how we got to this point, the good folks at Saturday Night Live are offering a more jovial approach to the madness. The cold open to the show on Oct. 13 featured a lighthearted spoof of the zany Oval Office visit.
The parody features SNL cast member Chris Redd playing the role of Kanye, while Keenan Thompson and Alec Baldwin are Jim Brown and President Trump, respectively. The faux Kanye offers nonsensical thoughts similar to the real Kanye's actual White House visit. Even the voice in Trump's head has to admit that Yeezy is a couple tapes short of the 12 volume set after hearing him go on and on. Brown hilariously contemplates while he is even there.
Coincidentally, it was Kanye's appearance on Saturday Night Live a couple weeks ago that reignited his public Trump endorsement. The Make America Great Again hat-rocking rapper expressed his unwavering support for The Donald and ranted about receiving hate for proudly wearing his Trump campaign lid. "They bully me. They bullied me backstage. They told me don't go out there with that hat on. They bullied me," he snapped. "And they say I'm in the sunken place. You wanna see the sunken place? OK, Ima listen to y'all now. I almost put my Super Man cape on, cause this means you can't tell me what to do. Follow your heart and stop following your mind."
