Lagomarcino's has been providing some of the best chocolate I've ever eaten for the Quad Cities since 1908.

While being a staple in the Quad Cities for over 100 years, they're not exempt from the shortage of workers that the country is currently battling, which is why they've decided to close both of their storefronts for a short time.

The announcement came from a Facebook post, explaining that they need to prep for the holidays in order to keep up with orders.

Starting September 20th, we will be closing our restaurant for a period of time at both of our locations. This was an incredibly tough decision, but being short staffed there is only so much we can juggle. This decision will allow us to focus on providing you with your favorite chocolates for your holiday traditions.

Thank you for your amazing support and kindness during these difficult times.

In a comment, the company clarified that the restaurant area of their locations are closing, but chocolates and caramel apples will still be available for purchase.
