Afternoon television in the Quad Cities is about to get more local in the afternoon. Local 4 is launching a new 60 minute locally produced show called "Living Local" that will spotlight lifestyle issues and showcase community organizations and events in a fun, creative way.

The host of "Living Local" is former Local 4 News Morning Anchor Brittany Price. Price says, “the focus of Living Local is to bring our viewers positive, life-enhancing lifestyle content in fun and interesting ways.”

Brittany has always created and shared this kind of content for her audience since I've known her. We worked for the same company back in Lubbock, Texas and she was doing the same thing as a member of our television station's morning show. And she did it very well. Her passion for this kind of broadcasting makes her the perfect host for "Living Local".

“I believe the Quad Cities has so much to offer those of us who call it home,” says WHBF-TV General Manager Marshall Porter, “but it’s hard to take advantage of all the great resources in our community if you don’t know about them.” "Living Local" will make it easier for all of us to take advantage of these great resources.

"Living Local" airs on WHBF-TV, Local 4, from 2-3PM CT and can be seen every weekday beginning Monday October 15.

WHBF-TV has a news share agreement with Townsquare Media Quad Cities. They provide news and weather content that airs on our radio stations.
