I recently witnessed a friend struggle through a bough of unemployment, unable to find a job paying decent wages and offers benefits. It's sad to see people I care about, who are well-educated, struggle to find jobs. Thankfully, he found one, but it took much longer than expected.

UPS nationwide is hiring 95,000 jobs, many of which turn into careers for those who wish to stay on with the company. Over the holidays, due to  more online purchases, more packaging is required so customers get them in time for Christmas.
