The much-anticipated superhero sequel earned an impressive $188 million this weekend.

The first major blockbuster, Avengers: Age of Ultron, starring Robert Downey, Jr., Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson, soared to #1 at the box office with a mind-blowing $188 million this past weekend.

Factor in the international ticket sales, and it has already surpassed $625 million!

But AAoU wasn't able to top the debut of the original Avengers movie, which grossed $207 million during its opening weekend in 2012.
