Neckers Jewelers Salutes Quad City St. Patrick’s Day Run

The CASI St. Patrick's Day run has been a tradition in the Quad Cities for 33 years. Saturday there will be three different distances to choose from in downtown Davenport and will raise money for programs at the Center For Active Seniors. It's also a perfect way to gear up for the St. Patrick's Society Parade which follows afterwards in downtown Illinois and Rock Island at 11:30.

According to WQAD, CASI serves 200 people each day and hopes to raise $70,000 this year. In addition Necker's Jeweler's has picked CASI to be part of it's Gift of Giving campaign. A portion of all proceeds this month at Necker's Jeweler's will be donated to CASI. You can still register for the CASI St. Patrick's Day Race.
