We have another concert announcement to make! The Tri-State Rodeo has announced that 5 of the 6 musical acts originally scheduled for the 2020 fair, are returning for the 2021 fair. One of those acts is Nelly.

On Friday, The Tri-State Rodeo announced that 5 of the 6 musical artists announced in 2020 have been rescheduled for the 2021 Tri-State Rodeo. Chairman of the fair, Tony Johnson, said in the press release,

“For over seventy years, the Tri-State Rodeo has been a yearly gathering for so many of us. Year after year we see generations of families coming in from all over the Midwest (and further) to enjoy a week of activities in Fort Madison, Iowa. It has been a difficult year, for each of us in our own ways. But I wanted to start this year off by saying, on behalf of the Tri-State Rodeo, thank you and we have missed you!”

5 of the 6 musical coming to the 2021 Tri-State Rodeo include:

  • Nelly, Mark Chesnutt, and David Lee Murphy will be on the main stage.
  • The Joe Stamm Band and Stumptown will be inside the Bud Light Stockyard

The rodeo is also announcing that Cole Swindell has been added as the Saturday Night Headliner for this year's fair.

Officials say that music on the main stage will start immediately after the rodeo ends each night (Thursday through Saturday), and will be followed by entertainment inside the Bud Light Stockyard (Wednesday through Saturday).

Tickets for the 73rd Tri-State Rodeo will go on sale Friday, April 23rd, at 8 a.m. Tickets will be available online at www.tristaterodeo.org or by contacting the Rodeo Ticket Office.

The 73rd Tri-State Rodeo runs from September 8th through September 11th.
