New MetroLINK Busses Have Arrived In The QC

Are you looking to make the environment better? This weekend is Earth Day. MetroLINK is looking to do their part.

According to WQAD, the mas transit company has now added battery-electric busses. Back in 2002, MetroLINK made a commitment to go green. 80% of MetroLINK's busses use natural gas as apposed to Diesel. The new electric busses are quieter and give off zero emissions.

Here are some other features of the new busses:

State of the art wheelchair securement system

Nine security cameras

360 degree camera system

Electric infotainment system

Also, the cost to ride on one of the new busses is the same as before.

This is a win/win for the environment and the Quad Cities.
