Nominate Your Favorite Omelette Place To Be The Best In Iowa

We all know that there's a national day for just about anything. So really, it comes as no surprise that there's a National Egg Day. This year, it falls on Monday, June 3.

To celebrate, the Iowa Egg Council – which, a bit more surprisingly, is a thing – is looking for "Iowa’s Most Egg-cellent Omelette." The contest officially kicks off this Wednesday, April 3, 2019, and nominations can come from anywhere in Iowa.

Nominations can be sent only by mail or email, and must be done by May 3.

The top ten finalists will be announced on May 10th. Finalists will win a gift package and be eligible for the secret taste-test of contest judges. The winner will receive a certificate stating their restaurant serves Iowa’s Most Egg-cellent Omelette.
