Okay, Who Gave My Email Out To Scammers?
I hate scammers with a passion, spam, scam, and anything else that rhymes types of phone calls and emails are the worst! Since mid-June, I have seen a huge rise in these awful emails, and I have no idea why they started.
One way they could start is if you gave your email out on a sketch website that asked for your info. DON"T DO THAT. I didn't so now I think someone may be pranking me in the worst way ever.
If you really hate someone, you could sign their email up on a ton of spam websites and just forever ruin their email. It could honestly lead them to need to get a new one, but that is truly evil. Bottom of the barrel evil! I sadly think someone may have done that to my email.
I'm making a joke about it, but it is frustrating to have happened. It's a bit different than phone numbers. Phone numbers are way easier for scammers to get, and they a pretty easy to identify now, but scam emails are like the wild west.
Scam emails can basically say whatever they want, and it's harder to identify them. Some seem like promos, while others are very forcefully, like this one.
The other danger of spam emails is that it is way easier to steal your info. In a phone call, you have to tell them everything. If you hang up you have them beat. For scam emails, all you have to do is panic and click a link, or accidentally click a link, and then they've got you.
So please keep an eye out for scam emails. They come in many shapes and sizes. Also to the scammers out there STOP BLOWING UP MY EMAIL!!
