It's the most wonderful time of the year! Well, almost. But we're ready to kick the holiday season off in the Quad Cities, and this weekend, that's exactly what we are going to do. But with that comes some parking restrictions.

This Saturday, November 23rd, the Festival of Trees parade will kick off in downtown Davenport. The parade starts at 10 a.m., but parking restrictions will go into effect much earlier than that.

According to a post of the City of Davenport's Facebook page, these are the streets that will prohibit parking beginning at 2 a.m. on the 23rd.

Through-traffic will still be allowed on 3rd St. Scott St. and 2nd Street up until 9:15 a.m., but after that it'll be closed entirely for the parade route.

The parking restrictions will officially be lifted later in the afternoon, at 2 p.m. Traffic flow will start back up a bit sooner though! Are you ready to get FESTIVE?!
