A popular cyclist hangout will close soon.

Ruby's Beers Bikes and Brats announced on Facebook that they will be closing their doors.

Ruby's, which is at 429 E 3rd Street, has been a staple for cyclists and bar fans alike. The description on their website reads:

Ruby's, nestled in the heart of downtown Davenport, is your one-stop shop for craft beer enthusiasts, cyclists, and anyone seeking a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. We boast an impressive selection of 32 draft beers, featuring a constantly rotating cast of local and regional favorites alongside classic staples. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist seeking post-ride refreshment or a casual diner craving delicious bites, Ruby's caters to all. Our menu offers a diverse selection of fresh, seasonal creations to perfectly complement every brew. We even boast a full-service bicycle repair shop on-site, staffed by expert mechanics ready to tackle any problem. So, come experience Ruby's for yourself – your downtown Davenport oasis for good eats, refreshing brews, and expert cycling care.

Ruby's last day in business will be November 29th. The post from the restaurant gave no explanation for the closure.

Ruby's has also hosted volleyball and pickleball league games. The Facebook post from Ruby's invites everyone to come enjoy the last few days of business.

Ruby's opened in 2017. Besides their bar and cycle shop, their menu features burgers, appetizers, chicken sandwiches, and smoked pork and brisket. The recent addition of the roundabout at the base of the Government Bridge on the Davenport side is right by Ruby's.
