Popular Illinois Arcade Bar To Become Area’s First Honky-Tonk Bar

We now know the fate of a very popular arcade bar and pizza shop in Illinois.

In the announcing of the closure of Analog Arcade Bar in Davenport and Analog Pizza & Arcade in downtown Moline, owners said they had plans for the Moline location and those plans have been revealed.

Get ready to get a taste of lower Broadway as Analog in Moline will become the Quad Cities' first honky-tonk bar.

Popular Arcade Bars In Iowa And Illinois Closing

Back on March 3rd, owners of Bummer City, the parent company to a group of eateries and bars throughout the Quad Cities, announced that both locations will be closing this year. Bummer City is also the owner group behind Armored Gardens in Davenport, Devon's Complaint Department next to Armored Gardens in Davenport, and the new Take Cover Tiki Club in Moline.

In an exclusive report from WQAD, it was revealed that Analog Pizza & Arcade, 1405 5th Ave in Moline, will have its final day on March 29th.

The last day for Analog Arcade Bar, 302 Brady St in Davenport, will be Saturday, Sept. 27th when they throw a going away party before the lease ends.

How You Can Own A Classic Arcade Game

Bummer City co-owner Dan Bush revealed to WQAD that you can actually have a piece of Analog history in your possession.

The retro games we have all come to love to play will be auctioned off soon. Bush said the auction will take place in the coming weeks with profits will going towards turning Analog into the Quad Cities' first honky-tonk. There is no word on what Bummer City will do with the games at Analog in Davenport since the closing date is further down the road.

No starting bids have been announced for the games.

Illinois Arcade Bar Is Going Country

Bummer City co-owner Dan Bush told WQAD his and his partner's plans to transform Analog Pizza & Arcade in downtown Moline to the Quad Cities first honky-tonk.

“We’re gonna take a slice of Nashville and bring it here,” Bush told WQAD.

If you have ever been to Nashville, you know exactly what Bummer City is going for in their next project.

Bush says the honky-tonk, Western bar will be called Late Rider. The new bar is set for to open the first week of May. Expect to see people line dancing, playing pool and darts, and a mechanical bull once in awhile.
