QC Man Arrested After Assaulting His Mother And A Kwik Shop Employee
It was a wild weekend in Davenport after a man was arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and a Kwik Shop Employee.
According to WQAD, the incidents began on Sunday when 27-year-old Jacob Mitchell got into an argument with his mother's boyfriend at her residence in Davenport. Mitchell may have assaulted the boyfriend and also attacked his mother as she tried to separate the two men. Additionally, he damaged a 75 inch TV while inside the home.
Next, Mitchell headed to a Kwik Shop location on Locust, where he assaulted a female employee with a stun gun. He attempted to use the stun gun on another employee, but she was able to flee before he could harm her.
Police arrived at the scene and arrested Mitchell. He faces five charges, including domestic assault, being armed with intent, and criminal mischief.
