QC Teacher Of The Week: Connie Ertel At Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Academy in East Moline
It's the Fall 2022 semester and we are heading out to schools with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this week's teacher of the week!
It's now time to announce this week's B100 and Nothing Bundt Cakes QC Teacher of the Week!
Congrats go to Mrs. Connie Ertel who teaches 7-8th grade social studies, reading, and literature at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Academy in East Moline!
Mrs. Ertel was nominated by a parent, Lauren Garcia. Lauren said,
I nominate Mrs. Ertel. She teaches 7-8th grade social studies and reading and literature at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Academy in East Moline. Many times she has been able to retire but stays out of the goodness of her heart and love for teaching. She also has stood in as interim principle a couple years back when the school had some unfortunate circumstances. She’s the heart of the school and deserves recognition.
Mrs. Ertel and Principal McCollum also want everyone to know that Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Academy in East Moline is NOT closing its doors. The school is still open and there are no longer plans to close the academy.
You are so awesome, Mrs. Ertel! For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Ertel has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack which included a B100, stickers, pop sockets, koozies, Bubbl'r from Pepsi, and more things, a prize from Scooter's Coffee, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Mrs. Ertel!
